WaterSense is enhanced by artificial intelligence for real-world applications. Enhance the basic parameters with advanced AI capabilities. The Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is trained with millions of historic water quality data points. This enables us to start with a small number of sensor parameters and accurately measure a very wide range of additional parameters, including harmful bacteria. An additional monthly/annual fee will apply for AI enhancement.
By using sensors that measure a small number of initial parameters, we are able to keep the total cost for our solution exceptionally low. We provide a turnkey solution that includes certified, off-the-shelf sensor heads, with a bundled wireless communication device and includes the AI, data platform, and dashboard. This is deployed and priced on a “per sensor” basis.
To simplify deployment, our solution uses sensors with integrated batteries and SigFox wireless communications (with NB-IoT planned). This enables a plug and play, fit and forget solution.

From lakes and streams to coastal waters and estuaries, farms, commercial buildings, and homes, water quality monitoring is a critical practice carried out in countries across the globe. Monitoring water quality provides the objective evidence necessary to make sound decisions on managing water quality today and in the future. Water-quality monitoring is used to alert us to current, ongoing, and emerging problems; to determine non-compliance with drinking water standards, and to protect crops, livestock, equipment, and processes.
With 70% of untreated industrial waste dumped straight into water systems, pollution management is a must. Governments, communities, and businesses are required to meet a range of water quality goals. Monitoring data is used to determine whether or not pollution regulations are being complied with.
WaterSense is an easy, cost-effective solution to monitor multiple sites from a single dashboard. Get hourly, daily and monthly data with intelligent alerts that enable quick intervention when and where necessary. Early warning is critical to prevent disastrous consequences.
WaterSense uses easy to deploy, cost-effective sensors which start by measuring a small number of key parameters. We use Deep Learning to understand a wider range of physical, chemical, and biological parameters in water. Just connect the sensors, and access real-time alerts and visuals for multiple parameters. This includes understanding the microbiome of water in near real-time, a critical capability enabling us to monitor the presence of microbes and nutrients in the water.
As a result, we can understand and help to predict eutrophication events (from sewage, fertilizers, and industrial discharges) that can be harmful to aquatic ecosystems, Biofilm growth conditions in the pipework, and Biological signatures consistent with the presence of Legionella, E.Coli, and other fecal coliforms and non-fecal microorganisms.
All hardware purchased through WaterSense or our approved partners comes with a one-year warranty. AI-backed sensing is not designed to replace mandatory laboratory testing but is intended to provide a continuous, real-time early warning system.
The WaterSense solution provides a real-time early warning system for changes that can impact water quality like the following:
The user interface is a web application. There is no software to install. It requires no special hardware and no integration with your existing IT systems. Data and alerts are available via a mobile device, laptop, or PC. The app is customizable and white labeling options are available for clients, enquire about rates.
Many existing deployed sensor networks and preexisting databases are likely to be compatible with our neural network models, enabling you to get more out of your current infrastructure.
WaterSense works on the Sigfox network. Please make sure that you have sufficient coverage before ordering your device. Click here to confirm your coverage.
