Sigfox offers a software-based communications solution, where all the network and computing complexity is managed in the Cloud, rather than on the devices. This drastically reduces the energy consumption and costs of connected devices.
ProAutomation smart devices make use of the Sigfox LPWA Network in order to send and receive data to the cloud where the processing happens. The first 12 month’s data is included in the price of the device, however, after 12 months you have to renew your annual Sigfox subscription fee (token) in order to keep getting updates from your smart device.
